Privacy

Under Review is built around a simple promise: you can see how your job search compares with others, without exposing yourself. Here’s exactly what that means.

What we collect

  • Your email address, used only to sign you in.
  • A handle you choose. Your private label, never shown to other users.
  • The roles you track, their stages, and the dates you record.
  • Any insights you choose to contribute.

What other people can see

Never your email, and never your handle. Never which roles you personally track. Others only ever see aggregate, anonymized information: how many people are tracking a role, the spread of stages, timeline ranges, and insights. Insights are always shown without a name attached.

Insights are anonymous

When you contribute an insight, we store who wrote it only so we can moderate abuse. It is never shown to anyone and never returned by the app to other users. To everyone else, your insight is simply anonymous.

Analytics & email

We use privacy-first product analytics to understand how the app is used. You are identified only by a random ID (never your email or handle), and we do not record your screen. We may send occasional reminder emails about roles you haven’t updated; every one has a one-click unsubscribe, and you can turn them off anytime in Settings.

Deleting your data

You can remove any role from your tracker at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, use Delete account in Settings. This permanently removes your profile, tracked roles, stage history, and insights.

This is an early beta

Under Review is new and evolving. If you have a question about your data or how anything works, reach out. We’d rather hear from you.
